Apparently WGTour has just been "hacked" by a hacker that goes by the name hiEro. Fortunately WGTour will be up again shortly.


Why would anyone want ot destroy the collective work of years of starcraft fans is beyond me. Hacking WGTour just because someone does not like starcraft or WGTour is just shear pettiness.

For many WGTour has been there for us to escape our reality, or to get a decent game, or simply to chat with other with your same passion. So many Stacraft fans have contributed to WGTour it is not even funny. It is so sad someone out there has no empathy at all with us.

One thing I do know, he is a newbie. Hacking WGTour and other starcraft sites is EASY. If he were a real hacker he would not be hacking community sites, most real hackers never do, and certainly not a hacker who wants a decent reputation - they do not mess with the little people, they mess with the corp world or the gov world.
