An exe file for a VIDEO ? why is that allowed ? i mean what's the point distributing some data as an .exe file ? it has only drawbacks :
- prevent mac and linux users to watch them
- make it very easy for virus + trojan to propagate (users can be infected by a virus, and post them without knowing)
- it doesnt save any significant ammount of space, even for a bad .mpg you wont get more than 1..2%
- it takes some seconds to extract, and users need more free space to store both the uncompressed files and compressed exe while they are extracting it.
you should seriously enforce the file formats respects. no executables for datas. it's more important that the 15 posts before mine where you get someone who say "avg is good" and 2 others reply with "no avg is shit"
The reason was WMVs on gosureplays.com didn't work on the certain internet browsers. (I had a same problem. Watch this:

They work on
http://www.gosureplays.com/e107_files/downloads/ currently but I haven't heard when gosureplays.com would reopen and I don't know whether the problem will be fixed or not when it opens again. Certainly EXEs were my mistake but as far as I know this doesn't mean I have uploaded infected files. I always use EXEs for newbie users who don't know how to extract ZIPs or RARs. It's just my habit. Sorry if you doubted my honesty. I just closed a uploading EXEs progress which is related to SKY ProLeague Grand Finals and uploading them as ZIPs right now.
