The game was planned for the Gamecube, PS2, and the Xbox. The Gamecube version was cancelled, followed by the cancelling of the Xbox and PS2 versions. Noteworthy, however, on a Blizzard Product Catalog released in 2005 with box sets such as the Starcraft Battle Chest claimed Starcraft Ghost "Coming in 2007 to Next-Gen consoles."
