Wie drücke ich denn das 'kurzfristig' in proper english aus?
'at short distance' steht bei mir im dictionary, leo liefert noch 36 andere Varianten. kA

ja family guys übersetzung is in ordnung

zu deiner eingangsfrage:

"on short notice" drückt recht gut das "kurzfristig" aus
